Launching Summer 2026, by founder Kendyl Joi, CROWNS Education is the most unique gem in the CROWNS collective, our foundational pillar, and heart of the brand. This program originally started in 2015 as CROWNS Academy of Arts and Education where Kendyl Joi wrote, directed, and, produced faith-based theatrical shows in the city of Dallas for middle and high school students. The now CROWNS Education program is inspired by how Kendyl Joi most loved to learn and participate as a child. Our arts-integrated and hands-on early childhood programs are one of a kind. The focus is on core subjects with arts-integrated content for PreK3 and 4 through 3rd grade, with emphasis on music, movement (dance), theater, and visual arts. Kendyl proposed this version of the arts program with the late Daniel Jones (her best childhood friend and musical genius) as would be co-founder in 2021, however, God had other plans, and kept reminding her through dreams to keep the school ALIVE! Through much healing, prayer, and determination, Kendyl Joi is purposed to introduce to the world: CROWNS Education.
